Better let someone smarter than me answer that question, but here's my thought. I think the total GVWR is over 50k. It probably says on your data plate. But if you look at the operator's manual, they list the payload for a tractor at 15k lbs, and 10k lbs for a cargo. Since this is the off road rating, you could double that, then add your empty weight of the tractor. That puts it around 51k.

There shouldn't be any negatives to a high title weight. Even if you went with GVW plates, you can run any weight plating that you want, as long as you don't run it when over that declared weight.

My 932 is titled as a tractor, but there isn't a GVW on it. So maybe MI doesn't report GVW on the titles, just the plates?
