It is no biggie, as the model numbers are relatively unimportant. One does not buy parts from any gear house for these trucks, it would be utterly expensive. There are more surplus houses and parts than you can imagine.

If it has 6 lugs, it is from a G742 series duece. 6.722:1 ratio. If it has ten lugs, it is from a G744 series 5-ton. 6.44:1 ratio usually. Some rare missile carrier trucks used a 10.5:1 reduction, but thoses are are rare as hens' teeth, and a twist of the flange will tell you easily.
