zout is on a distinguished road
Default kinda like

Waiting for the paint and muffler is like that movie O Brother Where Are Thou
he is in the store and says - they are 2 weeks from anywhere.

Been looking at the Canadian mounted rack on top of the cab and been playing around with another idea of mouning a rack to the front of the box and overhang it - roughly 24 inches out - fully suppoted of course. Clicked a pic while sitting here of a free hand drawing.

Metal is 3/16ths and 10 gauge x 2" - all angle iron.
Would have to make support plates on the front side of the box and interior and bolt through. I would also use my tie downs I removed off the box side and weld these onto the rack.

Really do not want to start much till I have it painted and all that stuff put away - I can always touch up area's later. (reason for not touching the gen set at this time also)
Been digging into solar panels and my deep cycle batteries - also another bight idea for more work was to make inserts into the floor area between the x-members and hide the batteries there.
Good news is - I have 2 air seats from 04 Volvo that will go in this unit -
