I received my M813A1 from GL the other day and need help with determining the year of manufacture of the truck for title purposes.

It is an American General and the ID# is as follows: NL08C2 C329-10216

Seems to be a great truck. My eleven year old son was driving it (with a little assistance from me) around the farm and loving it. Thank you for any info. Chris

With that contract #, it's a 1979 or later. That contract was awarded in 1979, was a multi year contract, so thats a starting point....

From there it was shipped to the 844th Engineer Company, Knoxville, TN but that unit failed to receive it in the maintenance system and no further record is available.
