VIN INFO.
Anyone no what unit this might have came from?
There are no unit markings , and I would like to put the unit marks back on.

No way to tell the trucks may have been assigned to several different units over it's life, the army didn't keep records of who had what serial number truck, might be able to tell by lightly sanding the front bumper to try and bring out the number. the 05G66970 part of the VIN is actually the USA registration number the 10038 is part of the serial number, should be a 4 digit code in front of that 0325, 0525 etc, you can find the complete VIN on the frame just aft of the steering gear, might be hard to see under several coats of paint.
