Spin on filter heads for 5 tons with the Cummins
I think John Tennis asked about these...I forget. They...Cummins...are proud of these parts! 100.00 for just the head! I can most likely get them for 80 ish for all the parts except the fitting, they are straight o-ring style and are expensive too, unless I have what is needed in my box or in the "bonus" parts boxes. All that is needed is 3, bolts, 2, o-rings, a fitting for the inlet and the head. Take the old damper off the pump and this bolts right in it's place. 20 minuites and there is a spin on filter. Uses a filter with a 1x14 thread pitch, I suggest an FS1212 filter/seperator or equivalent, I think it is a 15 micron.

Do you have a part number for this set-up? Thank you for any leads!

Check with any place that sells Wix filters they will have or can order the Cummins adapters for you and supply the filters. Any truck shop that sells Wix or Fleetguard will also have them. Wix most likely makes them for Cummins. Many military truck parts places listed on here and others sell the spin on kits also. Under filter lookup click on specialty catalogs then conversion installation kits for spin on lube conversion kits. They have coolant filter kits listed elsewhere.

I have a spin on adapter that I purchased from jwaller. It looks nothing like this one - Does this setup allow for a vertically oriented smaller filter?
