During the first Gulf War, there was a pic floating around the internet of a DESERT CONVOY in the charge across the sand with a Boat-Carrying HEMTT emerging from a dust cloud.... can't find it right now, but it seemed odd to see such a rig in the middle of the desert.

I live near a large TVA recrational lake......I can just imagine the looks from the bass fishermen if one of those backed down the ramp and dropped one of those boats off.
