I've found that accidentally leaving the turn signal activated on the highway causes people to pass you a little more carefully.

So I bought the switch from eBay and it mounts right up to the 5ton M816. I have also done some more research and found that the cancel ring mnts to the steering wheel not the column so the dia of the column has no bearing on the upgrade at all. I also found that there is an update to the M35A3 that uses this exact setup and there is a FM for the kit. I was in the process of downloading the FM and my dial up connection went down and computer locked up and now I cant find it. Anyway I just wanted to post that it will work on the 5ton and older M35 trucks as well with very little effort. Thanks for getting me started in the right or left direction. Pun intended

I was thinking the M35A3 but that does not appear to be the one maybe the 900 series but will that wheel fit the 800 series truck? Here is the link to the switch M Series Turn Signal "Blinker" Arm Military Truck *NEW* | eBay I also saw these at the Sussex show last saturday so I know they are real. I just dont know what truck it is from to find the steering wheel to go with it and to see if it will fit my M816. Thanks
I have one of them on my deuce and yes its auto canceling just have to mount it high and fab a tab on the back side of the wheel to click the auto cancel

Pics will come when I get the steering wheel to mount the ring. I needed a new wheel so figured now is the time to do it.
