Thumbs up Florida to Missouri, M923 pickup

I just made my appointment to pickup my new M923 at Ft. Leonard, Missouri on the 1st of February. Thats about a 2,600 miles round trip. Longer if I go to "Popacom" and pickup a new bow and top kit for the M923.
The plan is to drive it home(5 miles to the gallon).
If I just take my CUCV-II, I'll tow-bar it behind the M923.
If I pull a trailer(if someone needs something hauled or picked-up) I'll have my son follow me in the CUCV-II and trailer.

If you hit up Popacom, make sure you post up! I am not far and might try to make it down. I am in Cincinnati if you need a place to stay on the way.

Yeah 5 mpg is gonna be a biter. When I do my move to TN I will be carrying a 105 gal transfer tank. So when I get into Wyoming where the fuel is always cheaper Ill just fill it up so I can pinch pennies on mpg. The cucv trailing ya huh? I don't think its following I think its drafting to bad you just cant drive it up into the bed and haul it.

Why didn't you buy a truck from Camp Shelby? It's much closer to you.
