Default M931 Question

Can anyone tell me what the gross vehicle weight of the M931 tractor is? I would like to know for CDL purposes.

GVWR is empty plus carry capacity. Empty is 22,000 and carry capacity is 10 tons, for GVWR of 42,000. Gross Combination Vehicle Weight rating depends on the trailer.

Thanks for the info folks. I wanted to know the GVR to see if I needed a CDL for just the tractor. The limit in Texas is 26,000 lbs. and over.

M939's have straight air brakes. Requires at minimum a CDL B in Georgia, I'd go the CDL A route just in case a LEO tries to give you a hard time about driving a tractor without a CDL A even with no trailer behind it.
