Thanks for the info - I hit the wrong key and meant to compare the 931A2 to M931A1 - but I get the general differences now. Main reason was that I was curious why the A2 seems to be more sought after. Must be the CTIS - I didn't thing the nhc250 was a bad motor?????
Thanks
Cody

The 8.3 is the step up, its quiet, lighter, starts easier, and has better out of the box performance. The 250 is a good motor and has no turbo lag, it definitley has its good points. The CTIS is an expensive problem, if they want it i dont know why.

Bolkbich - Thanks for the comments. With the huge number if 900's coming out they are a really attractive and inexpensive vehicle.
Thanks
Cody

I'm very fond of the 855 cummins in the A1's, the A2's power is easier to bump up can go to 400 if need be. The CTIS is a pain sooner or later. I like my A1's very much.

Another difference that may or may not be important to you - I don't think there are any M939A2s that are 25 years old yet.

I don't know about other states, but, in Maryland, the vehicles need to be 20 years old for collector plates.
