Custom bumper finished!!
I finished the first phase of building my custom bumper, now that the shop is slowing down and we have time to "goof" off. The next step is to build the brush guard, in which i'll go scavenge the steel for after lunch. What ya think? Not bad eh?

Looks nice. Did you box in the stock bumper or start from scratch?

That's a cool bumper, I like the way the ends wrap around to form "wings" and kind of fill that big empty spot.

It's built out of a piece of heavy gauge (1/2) rectangle tubing. I notched, cut and modified to get the shape and opening I wanted. I can't decide if I will incorporate the brush guard into the headache rack or not, kinda like a "Brush Truck".

Wow, that's beefy! It make the already impressive bridge truck look even more intimidating. Excellent fabwork Steve. Any thoughts of putting it into production?

I'd build one for a member if they wanted one, but i've got 1,000's of ideas to sell fabwork for money, but only one me to do the work!!
