Default 5T rear axle seals

are they like the deuces, in that they use that crappy cork wedge to seal the diff oil out of the drums? I have one leaking and need to know before I open it up.

Just like the deuce, with the little cork wedge. I would use RTV instead. Be warned, the hubs with the brake drums are real heavy, took two of us to remove and install when we flipped the hubs. Be careful of the inner seal when you remount the hub, can drag on the axle spindle threads. Ours sealed up real good with no leaks.
