The government's justification for banning the Jeep and later the HMMWV for civilian use is supposedly the higher chance of rollover than passenger cars. But, that doesn't make sense and it won't be the first time.

If rollover is the main concern, then how is it that the Hummer H1 is deemed street worthy? What about the Wrangler and other SUVs?
