Fire resistant hyd oil or a FPminimum? Oil to stay away from
Fire resistant hyd oil or a flash point minimum
I have a line on some barrels of( I have been told) Fire resistant hyd oil , I havent seen it yet and have found no information on the net yet about the stuff.( CONDAT H-P 2046 )
If this is fire resistant oil what would be the lowest flash point acceptable to use as alternative fuel?
If it can be used what would be best to mix with it at 50% gas, e85, deisel,?
Are there Fire resistant or fire proof oils out there that we should stay away from?
Im a new M35a2 owner/fan
picked it up on sunday sep 14

Check out this link about SKYDROL which is another fire resistant oil. http://www.skydrol.com/pages/faqs.asp
I would not try to burn any fire resistant oil it in your truck.
