Is the multifuel heater(as used in the M151, etc) capable of running on straight gasoline? I am restoring an M114 ACRC and discovered parts for my orignial heater, (a gas burner) are no longer available. I have several new multifuel units and will just retrofit the control box and cabling to support the newer type heater if this is feasable. [/b]

Based on the information recieved and research I have done, I'm in the process of installing a new Model 10530 A24 Stewart Warner Southwind heater unit in the M114.
I have to change to the newer control box and cable, however the fuel pump and filter from the old system will work ok. I appreciate the replies and information!!
Thanks To All,
jkrieg
