pto shaft on m715

Dose anyone have pics of a ptoshaft already mounted on a m715? I am installing a winch on my m715 and not sure where the carryer bearing mount goes.

I don't have a picture, but I have a complete shaft in my shop that was pulled off a year or so ago. The front bearing bolted to the lower drives side of the engine, just above the oil pan. Are you using a stock engine?

I can measure shaft distances from the pto up and the winch end back Tuesday if you want.

Tim, doesn't it go (bolt) behind the alternator?

i am useing stock engine.

Its been a while since I had a stock 715 winch setup, but I think the bearing bolted under the alt bracket. Should be able to look in the manuals if you join at www.m715zone.com.

You are right Chris. The two bolt holes in the middle of the alternator mount are where it bolts too.

The picture in response to this same question on the Zone almost shows that.
