M715 backfiring
[FONT=&quot]New plugs, wires, coil, distributor cap, Electronic ignition and fuel filter. Runs good for a minuet then starts to bog down and then will back fire. Any ideas[/FONT]

PULL VALVE COVER AND CHECK CAM LOBES FOR WEAR & valve adjustment , IF alls good there then check shaft in distributor for it being loose in hsg. if good there then cam chain is stretched or tensioner is bad. you might also do a compression check on all 6 cyls. also lastly you might setup a new temporary small fuel tank and try the engine running off just it because the m715's are notorious for having comtaminated fuel tanks.
