M715 style new Jeep concept

Has anyone seen the new jeep concepts? I just caught it on the yahoo news real and one looks like an updated 715. Even has bedliner flooring instead of carpet. Here is a pic + the article

Just a restyled Gladiator from the early 80's. Personally not liking the looks, the FC I like.

That is not the early 80's gladiator. That is certainly styled after the 60's model.

I am not old enough to know of them from the 60's, was not even thought of at that time. I only knew of a few people having them in the 80's.

I believe they call it the JK-12, and it's actually based of a MOPAR pickup conversion for the Wrangler Unlimited called the JK-8. The front clip was probably borrowed from last years NUKIZER 715 (New Kaiser) concept. The NUKIZER was based on Jeep's J8 military platform and used an American Expedition Vehicles "Brute" pickup bed conversion. Personally I wish Chrysler would bring a pickup version of the Jeep to market, they've been teasing the public for years.

Well, at least that new Jeep won't be worth a darn in rough terrain if they don't separate the cab and the bed... But then so few people today seem to beat the tar out of their pickups, insta=ead they use them as six pack and bikini haulers... I would love to track down one of the KIA's as I loved the M715 when they were ten or fifteen years old they were still excellent trucks....IMHO
