I got a 10kw genset from mangus580, its starts and runs great for about 30sec to a minute and then dies. mangus and I are pretty sure it is the fuel pump, the genset was run on propane for some time and that means that the fuel pump was running without anything going through it, mangus took the pump apart and cleaned it up. my question is would it be possible to use an electric pump in place of the mechanical one?
how many psi of fuel pressure does the engine require?

There are 4 boxes to use in the defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo. Use in that order. Starting now.
Yes you can use an electric pump. Not sure of the PSI but the universal 28V pumps that folks have tried on the deuce (unsuccessfully) would be perfect. Think most of the multifuel heaters in the trailers have them. I think my parts set had one on it too. Need to go look. I'll probably be doing major genset service here in a month as hurricane season is right around the corner.
