I now have a complete copy of the M-30D36R Wisconsin Robin 3KW GenSet T.O. 35C2-3-499-1 Technical Manual, dated 15MAY1990, thanks to Baldor. Andrew Spencer at Baldor went way beyond good customer service. Baldor purchased T&J Manufacturing, the company that originally manufactured this GenSet. This is almost a 10 meg .pdf file and I will try to upload it to the Steel Soldiers website later. Anyone needing a copy on CD, please send me a PM with your address and I'll forward you a copy.

One interesting note on this manual is that I have seen posts stating that this is not a Technical Manual since it was Air Force and was a T.O. manual. This copy is labeled as a Technical Manual, even though it is a T.O.

I would like to obtain a copy of the manual for the, model 30d36r wisconsin robin genset. I have a hard copy of the manual for the Robin DY23-2/DY27-2 engine, but it does not show anything for the genset. I am in need to the schematic that shows how to hook up a battery for the starter, and like you, how the fuel lines hook up. Can you let me know how to contact you for a copy of the T.O. 35C2-3-499-1 manual from you? Thanks P.S. I tried to obtain a copy for the link that dmc-4359 says he posted on his website, but there appears to be a problem with it.

Thanks dmc-4359. Those manuals are worth more than gold to me. I can almost hear the purrr of that diesel engine now. Looking forward to getting it running after a year of collecting dust and searching for this information.

I see that you now have the proper link. Let me know if you need anything. I still haven't gotten mine to run. I can't get any fuel from the IP. I have a mechanical problem with the pump, but I haven't pulled it yet. You have probably found that the original fuel filter has been discontinued. The replacement looks similar, but you will need to cut a small amount of plastic off of the bottom bolt hole to mount it. Also, you need to reverse the two fuel lines since the replacement is reversed from the original. If you don't, water and trash will collect inside the filter and not outside where it can be drained. Let me know if you need any help with where the lines connect. Good luck with your genset.
