Default mep-016 D with yanmar low output

hi all, have a mep016D, when in the 120v single phase mode, can only get 55v at convenience outlet. 66hz any thoughts would be appreciated. fluke digital meter. thanks, Joe. Also how is the curent transfomer supposed to be wired.

My guess is bad diodes on the rotating rectifier, the instructions in the service manual say to disassemble the generator end to get to them, however I think they are accessible without full disassembly, but may require creative use of flex joint extensions. Alternatively it could be something wrong in your voltage regulator.

p.s. you should also slow it down to about 62 hz for normal operation, faster is not better
