Default MEP-003A circuit breaker rating

Has anyone ever actually measured the trip current running single phase 230 volt loads on this genset. I have read either 50 or 52 amps but wonder what they actually trip at with a steady load.

These are magnetic breakers, driven off L1 (linear reactor) and trip point varies depending on connection. The trip current is adjustable by R3 variable resistor which is in the output box under the load terminals.

This linear reactor also supplies the bulk of the field current through the bridge (six diodes). Fine control and zero load regulation is via the voltage regulator board.

Trip points are time-load dependent. You will be fine with 133% overload indefinitely, a few minutes at 150% and less as overload progresses. Motor inrush loads are easily handled as long as steady-state current is under the limits.
