Default Hiab knuckle boom crane

Going to inspect a crane this weekend. If it works like he says it does, I will be bringing it home. Its at a place where they know nothing about it other than it "works". Is there anywhere I can find info on model #s? Most of my searches are dead ends. I know it will lift 7klbs @ 6ft and 2400lbs @ 16. It has its own power source, so I need not worry about PTOs or hydraulic pumps.

Nah, thinking of mounting this one on a trailer. I will have a drop side bed on it too.

Good size crane Gimp, the older models are not easy to find spec for, my '75 HIAB is a 765A model and I can only find info on similar models, like 780AW. Look for the model # on the crane pedestal. The tags will give a lot of info also.
Another self contained unit, that's great...

Gimp, what could you possibly use a HIAB crane for?

This is not a HIAB, but similar in size to what you describe.

Try CARGOTEC in Swanton OH for help on HIAB cranes.
