A couple of weekends ago we went and picked up our latest toy.A 1942 Chevy G-506 1 1/2 ton truck. There is a winch installed but according to the serial number of the truck, this is a no-winch,no dumper, cargo truck.The "custom" install winch is a Tulsa brand PTO driven---question: what brand of winch (model/ size etc) actually goes on a 506 or what MV (if any) used a Tulsa. There is a boss where there is some info on this winch but it is not legible.Thanks, Jim and Shawn

probably a tulsa the 1/2 tracks had a 10,000lb tulsa winch
shoot over to the g503.com they can probably help a bit more

Saw the truck on the other thread - looks promising! I just love that body style. Anyway, I wanted to help you with your winch predicament.............by taking it off your hands. Hate to see the serial # not match the equipment, you know...
