Default Want to see pics of gov. locker in CUCV's

I have seen Detroit lockers and know what they look like but does any one have any pictures of the actual lockers that come in the M1009 and M1008's?

I have an opportunity to purchase a couple and want to make sure I am getting what the seller says they are.

Thanks for the help!

1008's come with the detroit.

1009's have the typical Gov-Lock aka G80 limited slip from GM

Do a Google/Dogpile/Yahoo imagesearch for G80 or Gov Lock. I've seen many shots of them online...although mostly broken.

Really there not that bad. Thing that kills them is big tires and lots of HP. They last a while if you are using them in a "stock" form and keep the gear oil clean and use the right additive

I'm getting ready to change my oil, just so I don't have to take the "look at this mess" photos. Which additive is best for these?

The GM stuff works the best and is only like 8 bucks. You can pick it up at any parts store also.

Ditto, the genuine GM stuff is good. I've even seen it recommended on Ford and Dodge forums.
