how much more pressure are you trying to obtain? the stock pump is more then capable of doing all it is ment to do.. if need be you can change the oil pressure relief spring in the pump to get the desired effect.... are you having low oil pressure issues? adding a turbo?

My CUCV runs around 45 lbs. when cold . After reaching normal operating temperature at
idle it runs around 20 lbs. which is fine. A high volume pump is not a fix for worn out parts.

10 psi for every 1000 rpm is the old stand by to judge good versus bad pressure. Below that, start thinking bearings and pump. However, it is almost worth your while to get another 6.2, go through it and have it waiting. Then just swap it in when your other engine goes. Repeat and always have a spare.

If would go with a high volume oil pump you NEED a high capacity oil pan or the high flow of the pump would drain the pan before the oil can get back to the pan.
