Harbor Freight has blue and red 12 LED strips for 8 bucks. They say 12Volt on them. I was under the impresion that LED's could work 12 or 24 volt. Does anyone know if they will work in the Deuce. Thanks.
LEDs are low current devices and a series resistor can easily get you the 12 volt drop if needed.
Some units have a built-in voltage regulator for a wide range of supply voltages (10 to 30 volts).
My experimental LED illumination shown in the image below. The LEDs are very intense and the light draws too much attention to itself IMHO, so I went back to the original incandescents as shown in other posts.
