Default Would this light control work on an M35?

Found this while searching for Deuce stuff on Ebay-

M35 M35A2 M151 M37 M988 M818 M923 LIGHT SWITCH NEWSTYLE : eBay Motors (item 330406434600 end time Feb-25-10 13:47:09 PST)

Is this really just a plug and play modification on an M35?

**Edit to add-
So there is no confusion this auction is for soft-touch electronic light control panals that were retrofitted into M-series military trucks...

Plug, play and pay! $150 bucks!

They are a little more trouble prone the the three handle ones.

February 24th, 2010.

Without raising the firestorm over this unit, you can often find them for less then $150.00 if you look around. They are generally reliable, and easier to use in a darkened cab then the standard three lever switch. HOWEVER, when hooking the unit up, be sure to establish a proper equipment ground wire connection between the switch units ground screw and metal in the cab that is grounded, and this must be done before anything else. Then hook up the switch wire harness in the usual way and screw unit into dashboard.

They do work and work well as long as they are protected from a static charge/discharge situation, and that is the purpose of the equipment ground wire being hooked up first.

Cheers,

Kyle F. McGrogan

But very cool! I'd keep the old levers as a backup. Robr has a sweet rig.

yes it is but you must add a ground strap if yours doesn't come with one. there are also lots of problems with these. they are prone to fail. keep your original as backup

Other than the grounding issues, what fails on them? Just cheap soldering?
