2.5 ton injection pumps
hello i have a deuce turbo multi will a non turbo injection pump work on it. or will a 5 ton pump work aswell are they all interchanjeable ? just as long as i time them right thanks

yes you can install a 5 ton pump BUT REMEMBER the 5 ton pump will have a higher fuel rate and you may need to tinker with that and the governor is set at 28/2900 RPM and not 2600 like the 2.5 ton pumps. This may cause a problem if your muliti is not tuned up VERY well and in good working order. I installed a 5 ton pump in my Deuce years ago and never had a problem running at 2900 RPM all day and night. But if yours is not in good shape.. you could be asking for it.

yes, just have to reset the fuel rate to your needs.

yeah.. read all the posts you can about it. use the search on the left side of the forum. DONT mess with it unless you have a pyro.
