[4]Hey gang, I'm preparing my M275A2 tractor for another roadtrip. I'll be departing S Fla in Saturday morning enroute to GA. I'm bobtailing up and picking up my M447C semi trailer along with a bunch of gensets and a host of other small things. For the trip up I'll be pulling one rear axle shaft and switching to desplined front drive flanges. I can get near 12MPG in this configuration so I'll save fuel for the trip home. I'll be draging back around 20,000# which is alot for a deuce. Thankfully, there are amost no hills between here and thereand my tractor is among the best running deuces I've ever driven. I've made this trip a bunch of times but it's always fun to report on a deuce roadtrip. I encourage all of you deuce owners to take a deuce trip one day if you can. I really enjoy them and frankly, you can sure see alot cruising at 52 MPH.I'll try to take pics on this venture. [/4]

Looking good Kenny. Have a safe road trip and post up some pics when you get home. I can't wait to convoy with you guys next year if we can get a SS Roundup scheduled.

Good luck on your trip. I have a question about pulling one of the rear axles, Do you have a dummy axle and flange that goes in its place, or do you just leave flange area open?????
I want to try that myself, but will there be any parts come apart inside the differential when you slide the axle out? I just want to make sure before I XXXX something up.
