Grass Fire Deuces in action
Pictures from the big grass fire we responded to last Tuesday 1-27-09.
Over 1200 Acres burned.
Our M35A2 W/W pulled out a 5-ton 6x6 and a 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy that got stuck.

Awesome pic's. I love to see the truck's working. If you don't mind I would like to blow the pic's up for the wall at my station.
How close are you to Ranger Texas? I did a 30 dep to the South after Katrina with FEMA my team leader was a Chief from Ranger.

PM me an email and I'll email the hi-res pictures
Ranger is up by Fort Worth, about a 7 hour drive. We are right on the Gulf of Mexico between Houston and Corpus Christi.

Thank you, Thank you, man you bring back some good ole time memories. Looks like a lot of sand, obviously from your location, gotta use a bit of finesse with all that water weight.
Stay safe, God Bless,
Rick

I'm thinking we have greatly differing fire seasons up here in NW PA... On 1-27-09, we had 1-1.5' of snow,... and it doesn't burn for anything...
