Default Deuce Paint?

Is there any way to bring back to life faded deuce paint? I would like to keep the original paint.

Yes repaint with CARC paint (Sherwin-Williams is pretty good stuff) or CARC-subsitute made by Gillespie (too glossy) which is available through RAPCO.com. CARC has that great dull military finish but the older CARC does tend to fade pretty good. Definately avoid the Krylon Camouflage brand sold at all major retailers. The Green and Brown doesn't even come close to the military colors. Or if you want take a more cost effective route, just take a chip sample to Home Depot and they can mix up some Latex for a mere $20/Gallon. It actually does look pretty darn good. CARC is now b/w $70-120/Gallon

Wow, I didn't know it could be as simple as match a chip to get latex paint from Lowes etc. I'f I'm understanding correct, I just want a flat satin paint, the same color as a paint chip, and they can mix up what I need? Do I need to ask for anything specific?
