Old "Wise Man"!
Barney, follow the link to the step x step. As far as manuals go, there are so many volumes to the 209 series its not funny. I always send new folks to the 361 series, everything is covered in 5 manuals vs some 17 in the 209 series. Once you find the manuals you want to download, right click on them and save them to your computer, they will be available to you all the time that way. The files are large and take some time. Here are the ones I'd start with. TM 9-2320-361-10 and TM 9-2320-361-20. After you digest these or as the need arises, get TM 9-2320-361-34, TM 9-2320-361-20P and TM 9-2320-361-34P. Note, manuals ending in P are parts manuals. As far as boots, I just won't touch another zipper boot. I'd rather force myself to strip the front end down and inspect rather than having the option of the quick zipper boot fix. Good luck, it's not tough at all!
