Default Transmission plug magnet?

While doing the lube change on the tranny and transfer on my deuce, I noticed that neither plug had a magnet in the plug to catch 'foreign material'.

Did any of the Deuces have these magnets or is it something someone needs to add themselves?

I was thinking the same thing. Magnetic drain plugs would be great. Going to order some tomorrow from McMasterr Carr. Just need to confirm the plug is NTP and size 1"...

You'd be surprised... Stuff finds it's way to the bottom and doesn't really move. But if you want a magnet, you can stick a good sized one right on the outside of the case near the drain plug.
