Default Winch shaft help

I have a 1956 m35 reo that i recently repowered with a hercules non turbo mulitfuel i used the whole drivetrain trans transfer and engine , my problem is that i removed the twin pto from the old gasser transmission and bolted it up to the multi trans and put the winch shaft on but it now is rubbing up against the bell housing so i didnt bother trying to attach to the winch any help ? thanks Dustin

Default RE: Winch shaft help

I think the mulit uses a diferent shaft than the gaser.

It is different... You need a multifuel winch shaft.

The multi PTO shaft has more clearance, but others have used the gasser driveshaft by grinding some clearance, don't know if they did it to the shaft or the bellhousing.
