Harry,
My M813A1 had a slow leak which was getting worse. I have the 10-bolt 900 series wheels with 1400-20s.
Found leak to be at the hole where the Schrader valve comes through.
Got a seal from Memphis.
Last weekend I broke it down. Those 10 nuts were tight ALL THE WAY. Found out there are beadlocks in there! O ring looked pretty good but there was some light rust on the wheel contact surfaces.
Wire-brushed & steel-wooled everything clean. Washed tire & wheel so there would be no sand to get in my new O ring.
In a pinch I think I could have cleaned & used the old O ring, but I put the new in.
Holding air just fine.
I never could have done it without my old forklift & a 3/4 inch impact.
Eric
