I currenty have no fifth gear in my baby. I have first through fourth, but when I shift into fifth its seems the shift lever dead heads and there is no gear. I have had the top cover off and with it off I can run the shifter through all five positions. I can manually shift the gears on the main shaft. Put them back together it only has first through fourth in either low or high.
Truck runs and shifts fine, there is no funny noises or grinding. I even tried to shift into fifth without the clutch but like I said the shifter seems to dead head before the gears engage. It shifts fine into fourth so I can see a bent fork?
