It is time once again to begin planning for the Steel Soldiers Ga. Rally!

The 2009 event is the 3rd annual SS Ga. Rally (4th if you count the 2006 cookout at my house).

Gang, I just reserved Mallards Nest 1 for Oct 21 thru 24. When I booked this Mallards Nest 2 (Adjoining Cabin) was still available. The cabins went kinda fast last year, get one reserved while you can, it can be canceled 7 days prior to arrival.

Oh man. I'm not sure if I can make this one, but last year was a great time! Counting pennies now.

Just so this isn't a total bs post I'll say this... If you're anywhere near the place, I highly suggest you go to this event.

D) Convincing the ole man to come with me.

Don't worry, Joe sold me on coming this year, after him going last year.

Me and Logan (5 year old daughter) will be there. She is looking forward to it. Please no big explosions this year. I never found out what that boom was Friday night, but Logan keeps reminding me it scared her and she almost "peed" her pants.

As a side note, and this is a long shot, if there is someone willing to either cook a stew or fry up some fillets, I can bring a dozen or so large well feed pond raised cat fish (24" long). I will not gut or clean them, that's what the "cook" will have to do. Just a thought and I have to thin out my pond.
