Mike, I don't know the fate of the other ones, they may still be there for all I know. They did not have engines, not sure about the transmissions either, probably gone.

When I was there last time, they were cutting off all parts that weren't aluminum and stacking the tubs up on top of each other to go to the recycler. I'd say most of them are gone now. It's a shame, but they probably sat there for 25 or 30 years without anyone doing anything with them. I'm just glad we could rescue one. I am still having some residual pain in my knee from that adventure. Probably Lyme disease ... kidding...

The aluminum Detroit Diesel 3-53 is unique to the Goats and is not at all the same as a civilian cast-iron 3-53. Adelman's has Goat engines for a pretty good price if anyone needs one.
