Default GL failed to provide invoice.

I purchased a truck in Feb. 2008 and the EUC process took a long time. I checked my account on a daily basis and, until this very day, my account says that no invoice will issue until the EUC clears.

About 36 hours ago I received a notice from GL that my invoice is unpaid and if the funds are not in Scotsdale AZ by Monday, April 7, 2008 then the bid will be cancelled and I will be charged a 25% penalty. I sent the funds today and can only hope the mail arrives by Monday.

What happens if the funds are late? Can someone check and confirm that an invoice was never posted on my account or sent by email?

Thanks
JR

Did you call GL in Arizona? I would call and explain the situation.

They play hardball to scare you into compliance with some of thier unrealistic time frames they set. If you miss the date they will suddenly give you several more days to comply. If they do try to screw you then please post it though as GL loves to get good press from its buying public.

I called and left a message with the "specialist" assigned to the transaction.
Also replied to the email. Have not got a return call or reply to email.

How often does Robyn visit here?

Just checked my account again, says: "Watch for your invoice here" "Online invoices currently unavailable for events that require an EUC".

I am not too concerned but wondered: if anyone else had such problems; how hard are the deadlines; and if Robyn could double check this situation for me.

I have had trouble with the last several Invoices showing the all went well at Battle Creek, and I should have invoice within24 hrs. Never showed up, waited several days, even a week on one inv. ,then GL cleared things up. This outfit whether GL or Govt. is really Unorganized, or do they do it purposely to irritate US!!??

I had a similar situation with my last batch from Chambersburg. I got an E-mail saying I had to pick up my vehicles before the invoice showed. Still no invoice but the trucks are mine. I would call the site that they are supposed to be at. If they tell you to pick up then I'd pick up.

Have you checked the status of your EUC? Has it been aproved? The last truck I bought, which GL has 4 days to get me a title before they break SC law (but that's another story), took a little while for the EUC to be processed but the moment that was done I received an email with my envoice attached. Picked my truck up a few days later. They of course charged my credit card the second the EUC cleared. I thought that is why you had to have a credit card on file. I guess there could be another way to do it and you might be doing it that way. Regardless I wonder when the EUC was approved?

hmmm JohnnyReb did not say anything about them demanding pickup before the invoice showed up. He just got the usual email demanding payment like I just got the day after my EUC cleared. I don't think the invoice is ever posted to "your account" on the GL site for you. I only get my copy via email.

Oh I don't know how you pay, but I have a standing request to not charge my CC as I often pay with a MO. Otherwise they would just charge it as soon as the EUC cleared.
