Who got what at the CA, San Bernardino, Barstow auction that ended yesterday?
I got 2 MEP 003a generators and cant wait to fire them up.
I saw one pair on a trailer that went for much more than the others. Last time I looked at it it was $2900, more than double the next lot of the same.
Why would this one go for so much?
It looked good, had low hours but would pre-inspection be the answer?
Just overall condition hunch?
Are there ever any service records with these?
You don't know what you get unless you see in person. The hour meters mean nothing. They are replaced all the time. When looking in person, it's nice to see when "they" (space aliens) write on the part the date it was replaced, so you have an idea what has been done.
