What is the intell on GL? Why are they the only game in town , as it seems.

GL has a government contract to sell all of the U.S. Military surplus items. If you are going to buy stuff right out of military service you've got to deal with GL.

It's still a free market. Anybody can still bid on the items. Anybody is welcome to bid on the contract also. It comes up every few years and anybody with the resources to handle the terms of the contract is welcome to bid.
