Made in Japan
Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2004.
Somewhere near Ad Diwaniya, on MSR Tampa.
Notice the "hooks" for cutting wires at gunners head/neck level.

RE: Made in Japan
Wow that's a big bolt pattern. But the truck looks to be roughly HMMWV size?

RE: Made in Japan
I think it's a copy of our HMMWV, with a few Japan-inspired mods. What they don't tell you is that they also transform into 18-foot tall fighting robots that talk! Just kidding.
Wish they were flying the Rising Sun flag on the door, though, instead of the Meatball. I'm sure that if we ever let Japan start building their navy again, and they flew the Rising Sun flag, that North Korea would quickly stop their saber-rattling! I can see Kim Jong-il now: there would be a single Japanese battle cruiser off the North Korean coastline, and he'd say "Man, we saw this before and it didn't work out well last time."
