HMMWV doors
I just too a road trip to Bakersfield California, where I picked a set of four new (with storage and handling scuffs) HMMWV armored doors, with ballistic glass. So new in fact the windows still had the stickers for use and care on them.
Anyway, if you are in the area, its worth it to go pick up a set. If you just want a regular door, underneath the armor is a brand new x-door.
Shipping could be expensive, but its a rare find and Duane has hundreds of them.
Let me know if any of you need contact info

RE: HMMWV doors
Makes me wish I had a truck to put them on. Might come in handy running around if the crap hits the fan.

I'm so mean, I had a dream of beatin' myself up. 'Broke my nose, I broke my hand, I wrestled myself to the ground and then, I choked myself to death and broke the choke, and woke up. Aaaarrrrrrgh. I'm mean. You know what I mean. If you know what I mean, you'll know what I mean! I'm mean! Meaner than... , I sure am mean. Yeah, mean. I'm meaner than that. You know what I mean. I'm so **** mean! I'm mean!

A full set runs from $1600 to $2000 depending on the condition. I took one used rear door and the armor plates and re installed them. The other three were new. Duane's number is: Duane 661-873-5443. Tell him you found him from Dean on SS.

There must be a limited supply these days-I picked up my new set of 3 plus 1 slightly used armored door with stickers on the glass for $600 last fall and a set of xdoors for $500. If you want Xdoors-I would just keep looking-it would would a pain to remove the plating and have all that swiss cheese left from the 100 rivet holes.
