smoke grenade launcher install - Steel Soldiers::Military Vehicles Supersite

Does anyone know how the smoke grenade launchers are mounted on the HMMWV? I see the basic bracket mounted on the roof but what is holding the launcher to the bracket? Is this a part I am missing? A source for a install manual would be helpful if someone has one.

Seems to be at least two types, sometimes both are/have been seen on the same vehicle, as in this case. If the attached pics don't answer your questions, I have a couple more that might.
