Odd Camo?
Drove by the AM General Humvee plant yesterday. Saw a LOT of Humvees with a strange camo.
Mostly tan, with green, black, & dark brown. Can't imagine what terrain it could hide in.
Stood out like a searchlight!
Anybody know where they're going?

HI Eric,
I was by there a few weeks ago and saw the ones you are talking about. I believe they are destin for Afghanistan. The color scheme is not the one Scott posted above. These are 4 color: tan base, green, black, brown. Kind of ugly paint and they do stick out in the sea of hmmwv's at the plant!

I can see how that would be effective in places where the trucks are in & out of deep shadows.

Yup! Just like the ones TedG & BFR posted.
If they leave the gate open, I'll try to get one for parades.....................

hmm.. they look very "new". id like to see some more pics up close though to really look at the color scheme. id suppose they would do well in more urban areas over there.

I was reading in the TM's that you could change the colors on you basic 3 color CARC woodland pattern to better match the area you are in.
