A friend of mine's father has an old M37 sitting out back of his farm. Not rusted but it stopped running probably 20 years ago and they parked it there. There she has sat. But what perked my interest was the winch on it and how it is all there.

Are winches for M37s common?

Trying to decide if I should drag it home and use it as a parts truck for a running one, or maybe........who knows.....

Winches were on about a third of the trucks. No rust means restore!

The winch is an LU-4, and isnt impossible to find, but hard

My parts truck had the winch stolen off it
