M-43 in CA on Craigs list..
What happened to the fourms that allowed sales from other locations than GL to be posted? ebay, craigs list, etc..
anyway, will post this here and hope won't raise the ire of the mods..
1953 dodge m43 ambulance. All original. Very little rust, very complete has PTO winch. Just registered, have parts manual, service manual, new window seals. serious people only, does not run. Don't have time to do anything with it. could be the baddest 4wd. need a reliable 4wd. looking to sell or trade.
a different 4x4- a must have

tamangel:
A very cool truck, I can't say I've seen many white ambulances, must've been USAF. Wish I was working, it's neat to see one with the interior fittings intact. The Canadians had an M151 version (I think) as a radio truck built by Fargo.

There was (is) a lot of abuse with people running threads to advertise their wares as opposed to using the classifieds as they are supposed to. As we cracked down on this, people began putting threads up like "This is going on ebay in a week so i thought I'd give you guys first shot" as a way to get around it.
Plus there was the issue of people asking "Why is it NOT ok to post upcoming GL auctions but it's ok to say "Look what's on ebay!". To eliminate that gray area, we removed the ebay forums.

I understand the big site non-postings as most everyone has access to those resources. Does Craigs list or other ,'look whats for sale in my local paper' fall into this vein too? Again, I get the problem but wish there was some sort of middle ground. The main concern I have is attempting to connect people that might really appreciate a certain MV vs someone looking to cannibalize an otherwise historical artifact. That being said, I like some mods to MV's. Guess my problem is just having something sold to people 'outside the family' so to speak..
