old jeeps in NE TN
Here are a couple of old jeeps near the barn that my daughter keeps her horse at. Any interest and I will get a contact number.

That Camando has my attention. I have always wanted one of those. My family lives in Greene County, are you near there? They are about 30 minutes or so from Johson City.

I had a 68 Commando and it was a great truck! 225 V-6 and TH400 tranny. It would rip out tranny mounts with annoying regularity. Lots of torque in that engine.
I sort of miss that old truck.

CJ/Commando
I know a guy that put a CJ front end on a commando. It took a lot of body work but it looks real nice.

One of my dreams is to have my own 4x4 shop. Old Jeeps like that, I'd just tour the countryside looking for them to save them and slowly restore or build them up. Thanks for posting them!

That kind of defeats the purpose I think.

I share the same dream. unfortunatly, there is little to no profit in doing it that way.
